KERNOW PIPES AND DRUMS AT WADEBRIDGE CARNIVAL SATURDAY 30 JULY 2011

I think this Carnival was the biggest and best so far this year. The Parade started around 7 pm and took off on its tour round the crowded town.
Besides the numerous floats, children and adults in fancy dress, there were vintage cars, tractors and steam engines. There was the Bideford Youth Pipe Band, a brass band and 2 samba bands one of which was accompanied by dancing ladies. The procession took about 1½ hours and as usual it was a good evening.
