Act of Remembrance on the 11th November, 2018

At 6.00 am , the actual timing of the signing of the Armistice a lone Piper will play the traditional end of battle lament “the Battle’s Oe’r” at the grave of the unknown Warrior in Westminster Abbey.

That Piper will be joined at that moment by over a thousand Pipers located in various places throughout the UK, with many more worldwide participating in this special and unique Act of Remembrance for all those who fell in the First World War.

Pipers of the Kernow Pipes and Drums took part in this special Remembrance playing in the below locations and no doubt did so with a special empathy for the two thousand plus Pipers who died in the conflict. We Pipers will remember them as we remember all.
