The Band assembled in Falmouth on Sunday and led the civic and military dignitaries from The Moor to Falmouth Church of King Charles the Martyr. We played the High Road, Cockney Jocks and Dangerous Jim sets and then returned to The Moor after the service. We were delighted to have Peter out with us for his first time as Drum Major for the Kernows and what a great job he did as well.
Our thanks to Chris for stepping in with his bass drum at the last minute which kept us all in step. Nice to have a sociable tea in Weatherspoons beforehand, then another with cake in The Kings at the halfway point and finally at the civic reception afterwards with the buffet.
Good effort all round and a nice morning out in Falmouth despite the damp start.
