Well, what an aMAZEYing day. In soaring temperatures, the band, including a great drum corps and a piper from the City of Truro band, performed two parades through the town of Penzance to great cheers from the huge crowds. A big thank you to the organisers for providing a much needed watering hole at the turnaround point.
The band produced a great sound enhanced by the extra drummers, apparently being kept in order by our own Henry. A day enjoyed by all, especially Anita (any higher and we could have used her as a mascot balloon). Long may the new ties continue.
