KERNOW PIPES AND DRUMS ROYAL BRITISH LEGION ARMISTICE DAY PARADE – TRURO afternoon – 13 NOVEMBER 2011

12.30 and the Band members were on their way to Truro to attend that City’s Service of Remembrance.  By 2.45 the parade was in position by the Cenotaph.

The pavements were crowded and the new Lord Lieutenant of Cornwall, Colonel Edward Bolitho and visiting Dignitaries were greeted and the wreath distribution was undertaken.

The Lord Lieutenant took the Salute and March Past of the Parade on the podium. At 2pm the Band led the way to Truro Cathedral where  Gordon Fielder played Trelawney and the remainder of the Parade entered the Cathedral for the Memorial Service.
