A lovely sunny day at the Camborne Agricultural Show overlooking the sea close to Hell’s Mouth. Good to have Matt down from Plymouth for the event and we also celebrated 2 years since Henry took up the snare drum having seen us at the show in 2017. Henry has come a long way since then and is now a valued member of the band and drum corps, which he proved on this occasion by playing a solo drum introduction to Highland Cathedral with Davy.

The band marched down the show ground to the arena by the hot food stalls to start the day off, having had Reg the Chairman check that the heavy horse were not going to be startled by our music. We played two performances and took a welcome tea and cake break in between listening to the brilliant ‘Jumping Out’ jazz duo. Thanks to Chris for bringing his ‘old’ bass drum with its distinctive rich sound.

A good crowd for the second slot who enjoyed our performance in the glorious sunshine.
