The clouds threatened again (as they do most years at St Merryn) but the rain held off for another busy carnival. Seemed like a lot more floats and vehicles this year and a big crowd too. As normal, we stopped at the crossroads, with a great reception from an appreciative audience, and played after the carnival had passed. However, we only had time for one set before the lead band were coming back up the road on the return journey and so we rejoined the parade back to the car park.
A great atmosphere and a well organised carnival with lots of local support and participation.
